Call for Paper

The 1st World Rehabilitation Robots Convention (WRRC2024) will take place between the 23rd and 26th of August, 2024 in Shanghai, China. The objective of this convention is to provide a forum for researchers in rehabilitation robotics and related advancing technologies to share the latest results and explore the opportunity of research and industrial collaboration, with wide applications of rehabilitation robots in neuro-rehabilitation, functional substitutes, prosthetics, living supports, etc., The scope of WRRC2024 covers research, development and applications in mechanism, control, sensing, human-machine interaction, and artificial intelligence of rehabilitation robotics. Shanghai is the economic center of China and is also a modern and beautiful city with a long history. WRRC2024 promises to be a great event for all participants, with excellent technical and social programs. 


All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted to ACM and EI Compendex for indexing after publication. Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality papers representing original work. Submissions and applications in all areas of rehabilitation robots are welcome.


l  All submitted papers should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical.

l  All papers must be written and presented only in English, and submitted electronically in PDF (up to 6 MB) format.

l  All papers must follow the double-column format. The number of pages (including text, figures, tables, acknowledgment, and references) is limited to six, but two additional pages will be permitted at an extra charge of 60 USD per page.

l  To ensure formatting compliance (e.g. margins, fonts, and size) the templates should be used (links provided above).

Call for Paper

The International Convention on Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology (i-CREATe) is the largest annual rehabilitation engineering conference in Asia. It has become the major academic communication platform for technical exchanges to share ideas, Global Student Innovation Challenge(gSIC), and exhibition featuring innovative technology, equipment, applications, and materials applied in the field of assistive and rehabilitative technology.


The 17th International Convention on Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology (i-CREATe 2024) will be held in Shanghai between the 23rd and 26th of August 2024. It will be graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand for the 17th year.
