Now SERCAD has a team of 26 people, including 6 professors, 11 associate professors, 8 assistant professors and one 1 lab technician. This remarkable team has developed a series of innovative rehabilitation devices and technologies. More than 100 patents of invention were applied by this team, such as the upper limb rehabilitation robots, intelligent nursing bed, intelligent electric wheelchairs, intelligent functional electrical stimulation system and upper limb prosthesis with dynamic electrical control technology. Over 60 patents have been authorized. The total amount of patent transfer exceeds 10 million RMB, ranking first among scientific research institutions.
